Program Description
Civil Engineering Keystone is a non-residential learning community for first-year students in Civil Engineering. This learning community is designed to allow first-year students to enroll in a number of common courses with peers. Students will also be enrolled in a seminar-style course that aims to build community with peers, staff, and faculty while exploring the Civil Engineering major. Students will be guided by peer mentors through topics including career preparation, academic planning, and university resources. Additional field trips to active job sites, team building activities, and social activities will help develop personal skills, teamwork, and sense of purpose in the major.
