Program Description
The Biomedical Engineering Learning Community is a non-residential, course based learning community for students pursuing a major in Biomedical Engineering. By participating in the program students will be able to build connections with peers, with staff and faculty within the Biomedical Engineering program, and with members of the University community.
Students in the learning community will take a shared set of coursework as well as a seminar course that meets once a week. Topics covered in the seminar course include many of the ‘soft-skills’ needed to be a successful student and future engineer, as well as career information on Biomedical Engineering.
